Tulips are in season, and that means spring is here!
A great way to achieve a modern twist to a classic flower is to combine “tone on tone” colors. Tone on Tone, means different shades of the same color. It makes the arrangement look different, without getting too busy with a confetti of colors. In this arrangement, the dark purple gives the girly lavender color a modern punch.
A simple vase, or in this case, 3 smaller matching ones, allows the colors to be the highlight. By using smaller matching bottles as the vases, I can move and arrange the flowers as I please: grouped together they make large floral piece, but I have the flexibility to spread the color across the room. For our dinner party on Saturday, I had 2 vases on the dining table, and 1 on the counter where the appetizers were – an easy and quick way to give our place some elegance!
